Before transitioning into the world of well-being, I spent several years working as a Qualitative Research Director for leading international agencies. My career allowed me to travel to some of the most vibrant cities across the globe, and while I thrived in the dynamic, fast-paced environment, it often came with intense demands. Yoga allowed me to unwind and restore balance amidst the daily pressures of corporate life.
During the COVID pandemic my mental health like many, took a turn for the worse. Physical movement in the form of yoga and tennis became my saving grace. It was also during this time that I began to question what I wanted to do in the future and became more drawn to ways in which I could use my skills to help people. My journey began by becoming a Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) in my previous role, igniting a passion for supporting others on their path to well-being.
Fast forward four years and I’ve completed two yoga teacher trainings, a meditation diploma, breathwork training, sound healing training, SHOUT volunteer training, Level 2 counselling certificate and a Masters in Psychology awarded Merit (BPS accredited). I’m now completing my Level 3 counselling (CPCAB).
I’m a firm advocate for a holistic approach to health, which aligns with the bio-psycho-social model from Health Psychology. In my classes, I blend science-based techniques with the ancient wisdom of yoga, creating a balanced and integrative experience that nurtures both body and mind.
My ambition is to bring yoga and other healing practices in an accessible way to people of any gender, shape, age, background and ability to make them feel great! Diversity and inclusion is at the heart of what do, I teach people from all walks of life from young to old, those with very limited mobility to professional dancers.
I always meet my students where they are at.
